Community Council Meeting Highlights
April 2026

  • We are getting closer to the event and hopefully you are preparing your Plants, Pots and Displays (PPD). The entry form can be accessed on our website or by scanning the QR code.

  • What this space for more social media posts and information on the PPD, Best Kept Community and Make A Difference (MAD).

  • Upcoming Community Engagement Drop In events to be held at The Royal British Legion:

    • Tuesday 21st April, 6.30pm – 8pm     

    • Saturday 23rd May, 10.30 – 12noon

  • Continued work with the County Councillors and FCC on road safety issues outside St John’s School (some work commitments confirmed) and Penymynydd Road (site meeting scheduled with FCC).

  • Thank you to all those who supported our Community Litter Pick on the 28th March, it was a cold & windy day, but very successful.  Keep an eye out for future events.

  • The council are exploring options to prevent parking on the grass verge outside the Millstone Play Area – this is a safety risk for pedestrians so please DO NOT park here!

  • Date of the next meeting and AGM – 13th May 2026
