Community Litter Pick

Despite a cold, breezy Saturday with even a burst of hail, we were lucky to enjoy some sunshine too!

A fantastic 26 volunteers from our community came together at the weekend, joining Cllrs Roy Wakelam and Pat Ransome, FCC Recycling, McDonald’s, and Becky from the Allotments group to help collect litter across the area. Together, we gathered an impressive 20 bags of rubbish.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part — especially the enthusiastic youngsters and families who made it such a positive and enjoyable effort.
