There is no library in Penyffordd, but the mobile library visits once or twice a month and stops on Alyn Drive and Corwen Road. The schedule is published on Flintshire County Council's website.

Theatres

Clwyd Theatre Cymru in Mold has its own theatre shows, panto and hosts touring productions. There are two theatres and a cinema. There are also art features and theatre workshops.

Storyhouse Chester is housed in the old Odeon building next to the town hall. There are two theatres and a small cinema housed in the centre of Chester library alongside a cafe.
