Planning - Hawarden Road

This full application for 32 houses on land off Hawarden Road (close to the exit onto the A550 by-pass) was submitted to planning in March 2017. The planning officer recommended approval, despite strong opposition from residents and the Community Council. At the planning committee in August 2017 and the committee deferred the decision pending a site visit. The applicant decided to lodge an appeal for non-determination before it went back to committee. In September, the planning committee refused planning permission. The appeal will be decided at a Public Inquiry in January 2018.
