Best Kept Community Competition - Update and How to Guides
As part of our Best Kept Community activities Councillor Pat Ransome and two volunteers - Jacqui Martin & Dawn McNeil attended Ysgol Penyffordd and St John’s school to thank the staff and children for designing some logos for the BKC promotion.
189 logos were received and all demonstrated the love of nature, pollinators, village walks and biodiversity. More of the posters will be used during the BKC campaign to attract more entries into the competition.
The schools and children were given books, vouchers and wild flower seeds to celebrate their involvement.
Below are some photographs from the event and ‘How to’ guides for a flower pot person and a welly boot.
Thank you for all the wonderful daffodils received to date, we would love more to enhance our display!!
