Highlights from the Community Council Meeting October 2026

 

  • The council welcomed Councillor Tom Blower who has been co-opted to fill the vacancy and Katie Pye – Youth Representative.

  • We are still pursuing Flintshire CC for road and safety improvements outside St John the Baptist School and the top of Penymynydd Road.

  • Our next Drop In Session will be held on:

o    Saturday 31st October, 10.30am – 12.00pm
The Royal British Legion. 
It is also hoped our local PCSO will be in attendance.

  • We will be looking to source and install a number of poppies for the lamp posts this year for Remembrance Day.

  • The council are still working towards taking on the land lease for the Millstone Allotments.

  • Play area improvements have commenced at West View.

  • The date of the next meeting will be 11th November 2026.
