Highlights from the Community Council AGM & Meeting May 2025
Cllr Sloan was voted as the 2025/26 Chair and Cllr Blackman for the 2025/26 Vice Chair.
The council’s 2024/25 Annual Report will be published on the website imminently.
Work is well underway on the Millstone pump track and is hoped to be completed in the next couple of weeks.
Phase 1 of the refurbishment works on the millennium clock have been completed and work on the gardens will start the end of May.
An ‘in principle’ decision has been made to participate in West View Play Area Match Funding, a firm decision will be made once FCC have provided the full design.

Highway Safety – after a number of years lobbying FCC to improve pedestrian access safety to Penyffordd station, they have finally prepared a proposal of improvement works.
