Highlights from December Meeting

Community Council Meeting Highlights December 2025

v  Mr Robert Bithell joined the council as a new Councillor.

v  Flintshire Officers from Education and School Transport attended the meeting.

v  The council are starting to work on the 2026/27 budget in preparation for submission of the annual precept.

v  Continuity of the Community Engagement Drop In events were approved and further dates will be released in January.

v  The council and Resident Volunteer Group are progressing well with plans for the Best Kept Village – Plant, Pots and Display Competition 2026.  Further details to following the new year.

v  Thanks to our community volunteers for assisting in planting the winter plants and cleaning village signs.  Your support is much appreciated.

v  We still have vacancies for the Youth Representative positions, please contact the Clerk if you are interested.

v  Date of the next meeting – 14th January 2026
